Under Initiative 6 of the PERMAI package: Strengthening Welfare Programmes; the government allocated RM25 million towards the GLIC/GLC Disaster Response Network (GDRN) as a matching grant to the donations from government-linked companies for immediate humanitarian response and social initiatives.

Who is eligible for the GDRN PERMAI RELIEF FUND 2021?

  • 22 companies who are part of the GDRN when it was first formed in 2013 under the 10 years GLC Transformation Programme undertaken by the Putrajaya Committee on GLC High Performance (including the CSR arm and Foundations of these companies).
  • The companies are as following:
    1. Employees Provident Fund;
    2. Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Yayasan Hasanah);
    3. Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera;
    4. Lembaga Tabung Haji;
    5. Permodalan Nasional Berhad;
    6. Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan);
    7. Affin Holdings Berhad;
    8. Axiata Group Berhad;
    9. BIMB Holdings Berhad;
    10. Boustead Holdings Berhad;
    11. CIMB Group Berhad;
    12. Malayan Banking Berhad;
    13. Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad;
    14. Malaysian Airline System Berhad;
    15. Malaysian Building Society Berhad;
    16. Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad;
    17. Sime Darby Berhad;
    18. Telekom Malaysia Berhad;
    19. Tenaga Nasional Berhad;
    20. TH Plantations Berhad;

How do I apply for the GDRN PERMAI RELIEF FUND 2021?

  • Participating GDRN members must submit funding application forms and any relevant documents to the GDRN Secretariat;
  • GDRN members may refer to application guideline for further details;
  • Applications must be submitted to the secretariat before the closing date for applications; and
  • The applications may be opened up to other GLCs/GLICs should the funds not be fully committed to existing members by 15 April 2021. This will be undertaken by the Secretariat in consultation with MOF.
